Who is Family Champion Coaching for?
Family Champion Coaching is for individuals who are part of a business family.
You may work in your family business, or maybe you don’t…
You’re concerned that your family should be talking about important subjects regarding the future and how the rising generation is going to handle the family wealth in the future.
There are lots of “elephants in the room” that nobody wants to talk about. You see them, surely the others know that they’re there too!
But those discussions aren’t easy to start, and so they aren’t really happening like they should. The people involved could be your parents, your siblings, or even your spouse.
You know that this needs to happen, but you feel so alone. Well you aren’t alone when you have your own personal coach right beside you.

What is Family Champion Coaching?
An opportunity to work with a coach who gets where you are coming from and what you are dealing with.
A coach who understands family business and business families, and all of the obstacles involved.
Someone who will listen to you, without judgement, and guide your next steps, as you work to get the family moving in important directions.
Who’s this Family Champion Coach?
Steve Legler was born into a family business and married into another one. Half his life ago, he got his MBA to eventually take over his Dad’s business, but things changed quickly when the company was sold.
He has managed his own family’s family office and now works with business families to help them with issues around family alignment and family governance.
He is trained as a coach, facilitator and mediator, and holds the following designations in the family business field:
- FEA: Family Enterprise Advisor
- ACFBA: Advanced Certificate in Family Business Advising
- ACFWA: Advanced Certificate in Family Wealth Advising
- TPN: Third-Party Neutral
He does group facilitation with families, helping them with things like family alignment and governance.
But now he is moving into individual, One-on-One Coaching, but staying in the Family Enterprise field.

As needed and desired by you, I can provide books and articles that are of interest and we can review how they affect you and your family and how you can involve other family members going forward

Because every Family Champion is faced with a different situation, Steve does not offer any “cookie cutter” packages.
Instead, he offers a variety of ways to be a great resource to his coaching clients, and those can involve some of these methods or pieces of content.
